I thought you may be interested in the national design conference dinz is holding this Friday 10th October in Auckland with the theme of Sustainability and Imminent Change.
A conference with a dollop of mustard… Does the consumer have the power? Is sustainability for the barons of the long lunch? Do we commit to a “more good” future of hope and aspirations? Are you being asked to know more and more about everything?
Hear Dean Poole (Alt Group), Dave Walden (TBWA/Whybin), Murray Streets (Saatchi & Saatchi), Anthony Flannery (Chow:Hill), Peter Salmon (Moxie), Prof David Walker (Giraffe Innovation) but a few in a stunning lineup talk about how they are responding to the mustard on the side on their plate.

yep I attended… our four senior creatives from Studio Alexander went.
I especially enjoyed Chris Metcalfes honest and humourous account of his experience going from a product design graduate to running his own product design business – the challenges he faced…
and the break-out session on Life-cycle design was good too, it was fun to feel like student again!
DINZ good a good job on organisation and choice of speakers, they’ve come along way in the last few years… there should have been more people there.
